Standup Comedy Workshop

Description

Whether you are a seasoned comic, curious in trying stand up, or you got a bigger tax return than expected, this Stand Up Comedy Workshop is perfect for all levels of those interested in writing material, how to get booked on the road or locally, and the best practices in the world of stand up comedy! This course goes into how to best navigate the business of stand up and how to best build the right set for clubs, colleges, retirement communities, or where ever you want to take your talents. Led by comedian, Erik Escobar, you will learn the best tips and tricks of the trade in addition to how to have fun on the stage by expressing and crafting your ideas, jokes, and perspectives!

Instructor - Erik Escobar
Erik Escobar is Mexipino comedian who has performed internationally at clubs, cruises, colleges, and theatres for over 15 years. You can catch him on NBC's Last Comic Standing, Buzzfeed, EPIX, Hulu, and his TedTalk. Erik has also been featured on the popular podcast: The Viall Files, as Musical Bars on I Can See Your Voice on FOX and on FUSETV’s Fresh Faces of Comedy. He holds a Masters in Fine Arts in Comedy Theory and Studies from Goddard College and resides in Anaheim, CA.

 

Cancellation policy: Partial prorated refund available up to the third week of class. After third week no refunds will be given.
