Description

Join us for a special evening under the night sky at the Rice Northwest Museum of Rocks and Minerals in partnership with Rose City Astronomers. On Thursday, August 27, from 7:00–9:00 pm, experience a partial lunar eclipse and explore the wonders of astronomy alongside knowledgeable volunteers.

While we wait for the sun to set, Rose City Astronomers will offer engaging activities and opportunities to learn more about the night sky. As darkness falls, telescopes will be available for viewing the moon and other celestial sights, weather permitting.

Please note that museum galleries will not be open during this event.

This program is free to attend, but advance registration is required.
