Description
This is a local Star Wars Unlimited Booster Draft event at the New Horizon Mall.
It will be located on the main floor South end near the window. Unfortunately, buying and selling is not permitted in the play area.
This will be a drafted deck tournament for up to 8 players - drafting will be in a single group. Pairings to be provided once the draft and construction is completed.
The type of boosters (Spark of Rebellion or Shadows of the Galaxy) will be determined after the reprint shipments start to arrive.
Each player will be provided 3 booster packs to participate in the draft. After the draft is completed, all cards drafted by each player will be their's to keep after the event.
There will be up to 3 rounds (25 minutes with 5 minutes to change tables plus 10 minutes for recording results and pairing) with single pod of up to 8. Each match will be a best of 1 (BO1) using a minimum of 30 cards from the draft plus a Leader and Base from the draft.
12:00-12:45 Draft
12:45-12:55 deck construction (removing cards to a 30 card minimum)
12:55-1:00 Initial pairing
1:00-1:25 Round 1
1:45-2:10 Round 2
2:30-2:55 Round 3 (Final round for up to 8)
Prizes will be awarded at 3:15 once scoring results is completed.
Prizes for the pod are:
4 for 1st place (3/0)
2 for 2nd place (2/1)
1 for 3rd and 4th (2/1)
1 booster pack per win
All participants also receive 1 Weekly (3-card) booster for participation.
Please register at the starwarsunlimited.com website to obtain your ID number to include in the registration as possible.
Cancellations with refund will only be accepted up until 3 days before the event (August 7). After that time, there will be no refunds.
