Ready to grow your own summer garden but not sure where to start?
Join us at Wrenn’s Farm for a hands-on seed starting workshop where you’ll learn exactly how to grow strong, healthy vegetable and flower plants from seed.
Whether you’re brand new to gardening or looking to improve your results, this class will walk you through everything you need to know to successfully start your summer garden.
During this 2-hour class, you will:
• Learn when and how to start popular vegetables like tomatoes, peppers, squash, zucchini and more
• Learn how to grow beautiful summer flowers such as zinnias, celosia, cosmos, and more
• Understand proper soil, watering, light, and fertilizing techniques
• Avoid common beginner mistakes
• Get personalized answers to your garden questions
Each participant will receive:
• One 40-cell seed starting tray
• A humidity dome
• A selection of vegetable and flower seeds
• Starter fertilizer
• A printed guide to caring for your seedlings at home
You’ll also have access to experienced guidance during the class. Christina Wrenn (Horticulture graduate and co-owner of Wrenn’s Farm) will teach the workshop, and her mother — a gardener with over 40 years of experience — will be present to help answer questions and share practical insight.
Leave with your seeded tray ready to grow and the confidence to build your summer garden successfully.
Space is limited. Advance registration required.
