Zoom

Four Sunday mornings to slow down, reflect, and explore what Jewish tradition has to say about staying human in a world that never stops. In this Zoom-based learning series, we’ll explore Jewish texts — including conversations about blessings, marking time, and even dreams — as a way into thoughtful, open conversation about boundaries, meaning, and how we care for ourselves and one another. Together, we’ll consider how ancient wisdom can speak powerfully to the rhythms, pressures, and possibilities of modern life.

Facilitated by Pardes teachers Nechama Goldman Barash and Zvi Hirschfield and drawing on Tractate Berakhot, one of the Talmud’s richest explorations of daily ritual, inner life, and the ways we mark time.

Sessions will be recorded and shared with all participants.

If cost is a barrier to participating, please reach out to Scott Hertz — everyone is welcome.

No refunds will be issued within 14 days of the event start date. All requests must be made in writing to crs@crsnyc.org.
