Stoner Creek Shakedown

Inspired by life’s lessons of love, loss, and redemption, Stoner Creek Shakedown connects hearts in the here and now of their songs. Hailing from Bourbon County, KY, Stoner Creek Shakedown is an upbeat folk duo consisting of John Soper on banjo and Sarah Fightmaster on mandolin. They pride themselves on writing honest songs about the lessons we learn along life’s winding roads. John and Sarah first started playing together in December of 2021. From a small town holiday benefit concert, they learned of their shared love of music. Specifically, John and Sarah appreciate music’s unique ability to allow people from all walks of life to find unity and harmony in a shared experience.

OWNER MICHAEL CAMERON BOOKED ALL OF THE ENTERTAINMENT FROM 1991 UNTIL 2007 & STILL OVERSEES THE MUSIC PROGRAM WITH OUR PART TIME MUSIC DIRECTOR, MARIA SCHROEDER.

WE HOST ONE OF THE BEST OPEN MICS IN THE COUNTRY EVERY SUNDAY, WHICH IS SPONSORED BY SHURE & GREENSTAR ORGANIC BREWERY. MANY OF OUR TALENTED NIGHTLY PERFORMERS HAVE GONE ON TO CRITICAL ACCLAIM.
