Description
Stories of Ireland is a cozy, community-centered Irish history open mic hosted at Mount Ida Preservation Hall just days before the holiday. This evening invites neighbors to gather and share Irish family histories, personal stories, traditions, and reflections in an open, welcoming forum.
The night will also feature selected readings from the Biography of Colonel Thomas J. Kelly (1833–1908) with author Erica Veil, offering a glimpse into Irish-American history rooted in the Troy area.
Whether you come to speak, listen, or simply enjoy the warmth of shared stories, this event is about connection, heritage, and community during the holiday season. It’s also a great place to exchange last-minute gift ideas with fellow history and culture lovers.
