We are pleased to invite you to our second activity in both Mandarin and English, now in partnership with Rhythm 'N' Rhyme for a fun morning full of activities in both languages here at Rainbow Play Cafe.

 

The invitation is open to all families who want to lear or practice their Mandarin with their kiddos. 

 

The event will take place this upcoming Thursday September 26th at 10:30am.

 

 

Agenda:

10:30 AM to 11:30 AM

  • Bilingual circle time English / Mandarin
  • Songs and a story - picture book / board book

11:30 AM to 12:30 PM

  • Open play at our indoor play area

 

ABOUT Rhythm 'N' Rhyme

 

Coming to Canada at age 6, Eveline has learned that maintaining more than one home language is not easy! Now, as a mother of two, with a BC teacher background, Eveline has spent her last 10 years teaching Cantonese and Mandarin to her girls and other families at local community centres.  She is passionate about supporting families in preserving home languages. Eveline speaks 6 languages herself. :)

Eveline is the owner of Rhythm ’N’ Rhyme, which offers programs for ages 0-12.  In the past 5 years, Eveline has co-written over 80+ Chinese children songs with Locy Lee. Eveline’s music sessions are filled with dancing, singing, and playing.  She believes that it's always easier to learn when you’re having fun!

 

 

 

What's Included?

  • 1 hour bilingual activity lead by Rhythm 'N' Rhyme
  • Admission for a child (any age) + 1 adult
  • 1 hour open play in our indoor playground

 

Pre-booking is required as we have limited spots available.

  • Tickets are non-refundable and non-transferable.
  • Admission is $15 dollars + GST. It includes one child and one parent for our 1-hour Special Activities in Mandarin AND 1 hour open play
  • Extra child with no extra adult (any age) only $12
  • Extra adult (not covered by child admission) $5.
