Join us for an exclusive conversation with Andrea Morales and Micaela Watts, followed by a post-conversation cocktail in the cafe at the Memphis Brooks Museum of Art. Photographer Andrea Morales’s portrayal of our region is deeply rooted in the communities she engages with. Her approach to her photography is informed by “movement journalism,” and her photographs often document social and environmental movements with local and national resonance. Join us for a panel discussion that will include Andrea Morales, Adrienne Johnson Martin, Ariel Cobbert, and will be moderated by Micaela Watts. This dynamic panel will explore the idea that storytelling can be a part of our liberation.
