Announcing the Sugar Moon 🍁🥞🌕(Ziissbaakdoke Giizas) Festival, March 1, 2025 in TKARONTO ! 

282 Geary, Ave (The Peter Triantos Art Gallery)

 

11:00 AM - 5:00 PM will be Vendor Event and Donation Drive, with music by @mcmacquin and other guest Artists TBA!

3:00 - 5:00 PM there will be open mic for anyone who wants to get up and share a song or writing piece! 📝🎤

• Entry for Day Event will be $5 at door OR a donation to the drive🥐👚 OR an open mic performance🎤 (children under 13 free)

Donations will be distributed in collaboration with Rising From Our Roots (@risingfromourroots) and Toronto Indigenous Harm Reduction (@torontoindigenousharmreduction) to help support the wonderful work these mutual - aid organizations are already doing in our communities! 

 

We are excited to announce the D'Kolonyzd Records (@dkolonyzdrecords) will be sponsoring an evening open mic competition which will take place at the beginning of the evening concert. The winner of the Miigaadiwin X D'Kolonyzd Records Open Mic Contest will be awarded a $25,000 recording contract with D'Kolonyzd Records! Winner will be selected by the end of the night! (19+ Only for Recording Contest). Contestants for the evening concert should purchase ticket to evening show for entrance. 

*Sign up for the open mic contest will take place during the daytime vendor event. All genres welcome!
