Enter a fantastical sweet experience at our new dessert experience, Sugar Science - The Art of Presentation at The Inventing Room Dessert Shop. Our new Chef-led culinary demonstration takes you on a whimsical, head-freezing tasting journey exploring some of the origins of our favorite confections, served up with our special twist of molecular gastronomy. Learn how our favorite desserts and candies were made in past and how they might be presented in the future of dessert, new for late Summer/ Fall 2023.
Each ticket includes six effervescent treats, such as Really, Really Cold Cheetos, Sour Patch Kids Space Foam, Compressed Apple Pie and Cookie Monster Dipping Dots; your choice of liquid nitrogen ice cream sundae, and time in our black light room with glow in the dark sweets - for an enchanting 45 minute Inventing Room experience. The menu of bubbling, smoking liquid nitrogen sundae choices include the Death by Chocolate Sundae, the Strawberries & Cream Sundae and our signature, award-winning Mexican Fried Ice Cream (vanilla ice cream rolled in fried cinnamon & sugar tortillas, house made butterscotch, double chocolate sauce and cinnamon whipped cream).
The experience, designed for all ages, will be limited to 15 guests total for session to ensure an intimate and interactive experience for our guests. The entire time slot can be purchased by purchasing all 15 tickets for a private demo for a unique team-building experience, family get together or birthday outing. While we do not offer birthday parties at our dessert shop, this is a wonderful birthday celebration outing for any age.
Please note, our dessert shop and catering operation is 100% nut-free and we can accommodate gluten & dairy allergies/ restrictions - just let us know upon arrival to the dessert shop.
The Inventing Room Dessert Shop requires advance online ticket purchase and we cannot accommodate walk-in guests. Tickets to Sugar Science - Dessert Time Machine are $16 per person, or $240 for a private demonstration, plus service fees and tax. Please note, all ticket sales are final and non-transferrable to different times are dates. Your ticket is considered VOID after your ticket time passes. A ticket is required for anyone entering the dessert shop.
TIPS FOR PURCHASING TICKETS -
- If you are attending with a group, purchase all tickets at once. Time slots sell out fast and could sell out as you are purchasing tickets.
- Please make sure you are selecting the correct date and time you wish to visit before completing ticket purchase.
- If it is only allowing you to select/ purchase one ticket during a selected time slot, that means there is only one ticket left in that time slot.
- We highly recommend using a desktop computer or tablet for purchasing tickets, we have heard of some issues with using a phone to purchase tickets though SimpleTix. Please note, it can take a few minutes for you to receive your email ticket confirmation especially when there is a high volume of ticket sales - your confirmation email will arrive via SimpleTix Orders.
