Beginning May 2025, we are jumping back on our Dessert Time Machine to head back in time to witness the discovery of electricity & Franklin’s kite and later, the battle between a dreamer and a businessman to illuminate the world. Our all new Chef-led culinary Sugar Science - Sugar Power demonstration led by Denver’s own Willy Wonka, Chef Ian Kleinman, will take you on a head-freezing tasting adventure through confections & desserts with the razzle dazzle of electrical experimentation through time and history.
Watch & learn about the wicked science behind our cooking processes & techniques during the 30-minute experience while enjoying tasting candy & dessert. Enjoy hand spun cotton candy as it is zapped with electrical arcs right in front of your eyes, along with other “shocking” surprises along the way.
Each ticket includes six effervescent treats, such as Juicy Fruit Dipping Dots, Chocolate Pavlova and freeze-dried candy; your choice of liquid nitrogen ice cream sundae, and time in our black light room with glow in the dark sweets - for an awesome 45-minute Inventing Room experience. The menu of bubbling, smoking liquid nitrogen ice cream choices include the Colorado Summer Sundae, Butter Beer Float and our signature, award-winning Mexican Fried Ice Cream.
The experience, designed for all ages (from age two to 102), is limited to 16 guests total for each session to ensure each guest's enjoyment in our little dessert shop. This experience is perfect for date nights, family outings, sweet & science lovers of all ages or just to satisfy that sweet tooth.
Please note, all ticket sales are final and non-transferrable to different times are dates. Your ticket is considered VOID after your ticket time passes. A ticket is required for anyone entering the dessert shop. Please read the tips for purchasing tickets below before purchasing tickets.
Our dessert shop is 100% nut-free and we can accommodate gluten & dairy allergies - just please let us know upon arrival to the dessert shop. The Inventing Room Dessert Shop requires advance online ticket purchase and we cannot accommodate walk-in guests.
Looking for some private time at our dessert shop? Our private Sugar Science demonstration is perfect for a birthday outing, employee outing or just to gather together with family and friends. While we do not offer birthday parties at the dessert shop, this is a wonderful dessert experience for a birthday celebration outing for all ages - just let us know it is a birthday celebration when you arrive.

June tickets will be released towards the end of May. We cannot schedule private demonstrations or sell individual tickets in advance of monthly ticket releases.
