New Orleans Style BBQ Shrimp

Large Gulf Shrimp simmered in a sauce of butter, Worcestershire, garlic, hot sauce, and rosemary on Cheddar Grit Cake

WINE:  Zarate Albarino Rias Baixas Spain 2021

Sourced from vines averaging 35 years old, it is fermented and aged in stainless steel, where it spends six months on fine lees, with 10-25% undergoing malolactic fermentation. Fresh, balanced, elegant, and intensely mineral in character, notes of clean, freshly sliced pineapple mingle with grapefruit flavors on the nose and palate. Stunning. Biodynamically grown, low-intervention/natural wine, vegan.


Korean BBQ Chicken Thighs

A sweet and spicy combination of ginger, coconut, maple, gochujang, and tamari over Jasmin Rice  

WINE:  Bedrock Zinfandel Old Vines Sonoma 2020

A vivacious purple hue, deep at the core and electric at the rim. The nose is bursting with ripe and jammy fruits—boysenberry, blackberry, preserved plums, and lingonberry—highlighted by notes of rose petal, pink peppercorn, coriander, cumin seed, cedar, and wild herbs. On the palate, a dense core of black fruit is supported by a mouthwatering tang of acidity. Chewy tannins hit next, adding a textural depth to flavors of exotic spices, wild herbs, and tobacco. The finish is long and spicy, showing the structured focus of a serious Zinfandel. Not too jammy or tannic, instead hitting the proverbial “Goldilocks Zone'' with a touch of panache.  


Summer Romaine Salad

Heirloom tomato, cucumber, red onion, grilled BBQ peaches, and Romaine salad, fresh herb vinaigrette

WINE:  Red Car Rose of Pinot Noir Sonoma Coast 2021

This wine is generous, with aromas of nectarine, red grapefruit, honeysuckle, and citrus blossom. Driven by a firm natural acid profile, the wine expresses itself on the palate with juicy and succulent fruits combined with a strong mineral presence. Orange sorbet and tangerine oil finish in what is a tantalizing palate overall.



Texas Style BBQ Brisket

House-made sauce, vegetable slaw, grilled corn, buttermilk fried onion rings

WINE:  Vincent Paris Saint Joseph Syrah Rhone

A textbook St.-Joseph red is firm with a core of minerality that is enhanced by savory and peppery qualities. Aromas and flavors of smoke, olives, herbs, and violets are common; its wines are dense in red and black fruit.


Banana and Strawberry Cobbler

WINE:  Huet Vouvray Haut-Lieu Moelleux 2018

DESCRIPTION:  Round and harmonious, with a suave texture and notes of ripe Bosc pear, white peach, and elderflower. Shows hints of brioche and glaze, while the acidity cuts through, giving this balance and vibrancy. Drink now through 2033.
