Dear ICDT! families,
We’re excited to gear up for another fun and inspiring Summer Camp season at ICDT! As part of our preparations, we will be hosting a mandatory Summer Camp Volunteer Training on Saturday, May 31st. Please see the details below.
This training is required for all students who plan to volunteer at our camps this summer. We also encourage anyone age 13 and up to attend, whether you've already signed up to volunteer or are still figuring out your summer schedule. It’s a great way to get a feel for what volunteering at camp is all about!
Date & Time: Saturday, May 31st; 2:30PM - 5PM
Location: 194 Diablo Rd, Danville, CA 94526, Studio A
Training will cover:
- An overview of Summer Camp volunteer duties
- How to support the teaching artists, and engage with young students in the classroom
- How to respond to emergency situations
- And more tips and tools to help you feel confident and prepared!
