Summer Eggsplorers at Dull's Tree Farm

Welcome to Summer Eggsplorers, where curiosity meets nature in an exciting educational adventure! This four-week summer educational program is geared toward ages 3-8. 

What's the Event about?

Join us for a unique summer experience focused on oviparous animals and conservation in Indiana and the wonders of gardening. Throughout this program, participants will delve into the fascinating world of creatures that hatch from eggs and conservation in Indiana. Through interactive sessions and hands-on activities, we'll learn about their life cycles, habitats, and the importance of conservation.

In addition to our exploration of animals, Summer Eggsplorers will dive into the joys of gardening. Participants will discover the magic of growing flowers and vegetables, gaining practical skills and knowledge about planting, nurturing, and harvesting. From seed to bloom, we'll witness the marvels of nature firsthand.

Dates and Time:

These classes will happen twice a week on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. Classes are the same both days so you will only want to pick one day to come each week.
June 18 and 19
June 25 and 26
July 9 and 10
July 16 and 17

Class Times:
*You can arrive as early as 10:00 a.m.  If you are signed up for an 11:30 class time, your time to play on the farm will be before your class time.  So, we recommend coming around 10:00 to have plenty of time to play. 

1st Class: 10:15-11:15 (time on the farm will end at 1:00 p.m.)

2nd Class: 11:30-12:30 (time on the farm will end at 1:00 p.m.)

What Can You Expect?

What does a PAID admission include:

• A hands-on educational lesson.
• A Dull’s stadium cup and small bouquet of flowers to be placed in the cup.
  *If you are attending more than one week, we ask that you bring your stadium cup back with you to pick the flowers. If you attend all 4 weeks, you will receive 15% off in the Trading Post the last day of the classes.
• A nature journal to use at home throughout the summer.
• Playtime on the farm.  You will get to enjoy the Ropes Range, Tire Mountain, and Swing Set. 
  **The big slide will NOT be open during these classes.

Who Can Join?

These lessons are geared towards children ages 3 to 8 years old.  Other ages are welcome to attend and learn along with us. 

Admission is $12/child per day – ages 2 and under are free
*Any child coming to the farm during these classes will need to pay admission unless they are 2 or under.  Parents and guardians are free to attend.  Parents and guardians must stay with their child/children at all times.  This is not a drop off event. 
**Ages 2 and under are not considered a PAID admission so they will not receive what is included in admission.  They can play during the playtime though. Just to clarify on the ages. This is geared towards ages 3-8. We are offering ages 2 and under for families with a range of ages of kids. For example if your 6 year old wants to attend, but you have a 2 year old.

You must have a paid admission to be added to one of the groups for the learning sessions.

You child will be playing in dirt and water so we recommend wearing clothes that you are okay with getting dirty and wet.
