Join us at the farm for a memorable flower picking experience. Wander the flower rows to discover all the colours, scents and beauty of field grown flowers, then pick your favourite blooms to take home!
Coffee van, sweet treats and cold drinks also available on the day to purchase. Delicious Picnic platters with Tasmanian cheeses, GF biscuits, fruit, dips, smoked almonds and olives also available to pre-book. Why not bring a picnic blanket and make a day of it!
Harvesting instructions will be provided from our staff in the field. Your ticket includes snips to loan and a beautiful tin pitcher to take your flowers home in.
Returning customers can bring their tin pitcher back for a reduced price ticket (small base diameter = 11cm / large base diameter =13cm). New visitors must purchase a full price picking ticket before being eligible for the reduced price ticket on their next visit.
Gates open at 10am and you have up to 3 hours to enjoy the farm. Picking takes approx 1-1.5 hours. Non-picking guests may accompany flower picking guests free of charge, otherwise a $10 entry fee per adult applies.
Due to the nature of our limited & ticketed events, no refunds are provided. Transferred tickets to another event within the same flower season may be possible with 48 hour's notice. This session may be subject to postponement due to inclement weather. Participants will be notified by text or email in the case of cancellation by host. Here at Earthenry we grow over 100 different varieties of gorgeous seasonal flowers all nestled amongst beautiful gardens to explore during our open season events (October to April). Located in Lower Snug we are only a 25 minute drive south of Hobart and 5 mins from the Bruny Island ferry terminal.
From January to March, when our flowers are at their peak, we open weekly for 'Pick Your Own Flowers' and picnics on the lawns. Our Friday night twilight sessions with food, drinks and music are our most popular!
You can also book into one of our inspiring creative floral workshops or learn how we grow our flowers by attending one of our practical farming workshops. Our community volunteer gardening program Garden + Gossip runs every Friday during the off-season and welcomes new members!
