Summer Mah Jongg League at New Asia

Join me for an exciting Summer Mah Jongg League at New Asia in Germantown!

Whether you're looking to sharpen your skills or enjoy friendly competition, this league offers a welcoming and engaging environment for all participants. Join a community of Mah Jongg enthusiasts who share your passion for this timeless game while building confidence, strategy, and lasting friendships along the way.

League Format

  • Play will follow NMJL rules. MS Mahj League rules and scoring will be sent to each registrant.

  • Each session will include two 60-minute timed rounds.

League Dates

  • July 7, 14, 21, 28

  • August 4, 11

Schedule

  • Lunch: 1:00 PM

  • League Play Begins: 2:00 PM

  • Event Ends: 4:30 PM

Attendance & Substitutions
If you need to miss a league date, please notify Linda McKnight at least 24 hours in advance. There will be a sub list that Linda will use to fill spots as needed; however, it is up to the player to ensure that a substitute player is available in order for the sub player's scores to count toward your league standings.

Prizes will be awarded to the top 3 players.

Linda is a member of Michele Frizzell’s Mahj Life Instructor Guild.  She has earned credentials in National Mah Jongg League Rules, and Sportsmanship through the Guild.
