Are you ready to take your mahjong to the next level with friendly competition, great prizes, and new friends? Our Summer Mahjong League is now open for registration! We will play on four consecutive Tuesdays beginning July 14 at Chicken N Pickle in NKC. League play will start at 6:30pm, feel free to come early to purchase food or drinks!
We will play 3 full games per night scored towards League points. We will all play off the 2026 NMJL card so you will need to have your own card prior to the start of League. If there is time we can play a fourth game for fun. We will keep track of the winning mahjong players' scores each week and a running tally will be available to view. The highest scorer at the end of Week 4 will win a tile set and mat from Oh My Mahjong! Second place will win a storage bag and mat from OMM, and third place will win a mat from OMM.
We will also have weekly raffles and fun prizes along the way.
This league is for confident beginner-intermediate players. You need to have experience playing independently and have good working knowledge of the rules of American mahjong. No instruction/guided play will be available.
The League cost is $75. The entry fee is non-refundable. If you have to cancel for any reason, registration is transferrable so you can find someone to take your spot.
What do I need to bring? All tablesets will be provided, you will just need to bring your own 2026 NMJL card.
Rules: We will be playing with blanks and jokers.
