Ecstatic Dance is an opportunity to connect with your body and community with free form expressive dance. We will be honoring the container of the space, which includes:
✨ limiting conversation on the dance floor, this keeps the energy flowing (there will be a designated space and time to chat)
✨ we invite you to explore the shoe-less experience of dancing barefoot on the Earth
✨this is a substance free event
✨no phones on the dance floor, be present
✨this is a judgement free dance journey, feel free to express yourself

aGave is a dancer and a DJ. Her love for dance goes beyond passion—it's a therapeutic experience that allows her to release and be fully present. By tapping into her personal dance journey, she creates DJ mixes that take listeners on a deep emotional adventure. Blending various music styles rooted in tribal and organic sounds, aGave creates a well balanced and transformative experience for all.
aGave's DJ journey began as a techno enthusiast and co-founder of Techno Therapy—a collective dedicated to hosting electronic music events in the Hudson Valley. However, her heart ultimately led her to the conscious dance scene and the realm of Ecstatic Dance DJing. Today, she shares her passion by performing at Ecstatic Dance events and is the driving force behind Ecstatic Dance Beacon, a bi-monthly event in Beacon NY.
