Summer Solstice Plant Walk with Glinda Rhodes

Saturday, June 17, 10 am-12 pm

 

Summer Solstice is traditionally the best time for gathering herbs for medicinal and culinary usages. Join Master Herbalist Glinda Rhodes in the Herb Garden at Memphis Botanic Garden for a midsummer plant walk as we view and learn about some of the time-honored ways that plants can assist in our well-being.  

 

Glinda’s herbal studies and practice span over 30 years. She has studied with some of the preeminent herbal teachers in the U.S., including Michael Moore and Rosemary Gladstar. Glinda has been a professional member of the American Herbalists Guild since 2004 and has led plant walks and taught classes locally, regionally, and at national conferences.
