Agape Farm of Watha, LLC is an agritourism farm located in rural Pender County between Burgaw and Wallace, NC. Established in 2021 as a family farm and in 2023 as a limited liability company. We offer a place to those wishing to get away from the hustle and bustle of city life for a more tranquil setting. A morning or afternoon spent at the farm might include snuggling a baby goat, a rabbit or checking out one of our hairy coos! Which ever farm animal tops your favorite list, chances are you'll find it at Agape Farm of Watha! We'd love to host your next birthday party, family reunion, or corporate event or just come for a farm tour! Our farm is open by appointment with the exception of our open farm days which are typically held in the spring, fall and at Christmas time.

Sometimes the sweetest animals on the farm are the ones quietly waiting for their turn in the spotlight.
Join us for a relaxing evening inside our donkey pasture as you spend quality one-on-one time with our lovable trio—Taffy, Truffles, and Charlie!
This isn’t a rushed tour or a petting zoo visit. It’s 45 minutes dedicated entirely to getting to know these gentle, curious animals that play such an important role here at Agape Farm.
During your private session, you’ll have plenty of time to:
• Brush and groom the donkeys
• Give them lots of scratches, hugs, and affection
• Walk alongside them around the pasture
• Feed them their favorite treats
• Take selfies and photos together
• Learn fun facts about donkeys and their personalities
• Simply slow down and enjoy their peaceful company
Our donkeys are incredibly social and genuinely enjoy spending time with people. Each one has a unique personality, and we can’t wait to introduce you to Taffy, Truffles, and Charlie.
Bring the Treats!
You’re welcome to bring your own donkey treats! Fresh produce such as carrots, apples, celery, cucumbers, lettuce, watermelon, bananas, and other fruits and vegetables are always welcome.

A Note About Age
To help keep this experience enjoyable for both our guests and our donkeys, this encounter is designed for ages 10 and up. Fast movements and loud noises can sometimes startle our donkeys, so we’ve created this experience with older children, teens, and adults in mind.
Whether you’re an animal lover, looking for a unique date night, planning a girls’ evening out, or simply wanting to unwind after a busy week, we hope you’ll come discover why donkeys have completely stolen our hearts.

Liability Waiver
For the safety of both our guests and our animals, all participants must sign a liability waiver before entering the donkey pasture.
Because Happy Donkeys Make the Best Memories We want every guest to leave with wonderful memories, and that starts with making sure our donkeys are happy and comfortable, too! While our donkeys are known for their sweet personalities, they’re still animals and occasionally have days when they’d rather take it easy.
For the safety and comfort of both our guests and our animals, Agape Farm reserves the right to withhold any donkey from interaction if we feel it’s in everyone’s best interest.
