Description
On April 4, bring creativity and sustainability together at Super Saturday: Recycled Animal Sculptures. Inspired by beloved works in the museum’s Permanent Collection—Greyhounds Playing and Cori with Cat—this hands-on activity invites young artists to reimagine egg cartons as sculptural portraits of their favorite animals.
Using egg cartons, paint, and cardstock, kids will cut, glue, and decorate their own eco-friendly animal creations, celebrating both the joy of pets and the power of upcycled art. This playful project is perfect for introducing kids to sculpture, shape, and repurposed materials during Earth Month.
Ideal for ages 5–12. All materials provided.
Registration is required. Spots are limited—sign up early!
