Description

This class is highly recommended for any homeowner interested in attaining, and maintaining, a safe, attractive, and functional lawn.

Is your lawn taking up too much of your finite resources: time, energy, money, and water? Are you looking for something other than a bee or pollinator lawn? Would you like to avoid using chemicals due to the presence of kids and/or pets? The University of Minnesota turfgrass department has been working on low input lawn care so homeowners can enjoy an attractive, safe, and functional lawn with less time and fewer resources. Have a lawn service? You will also come away with useful information to help transform your lawn.

This class is developed and taught by the University of Minnesota Extension Master Gardener Volunteer Program. Ramsey County Garden Educators are eager to share research-based gardening best practices that promote healthy landscapes, healthy foods, and healthy lives with the people in their community.
