And what happens when you gather the freshest fir, pine, cedar, juniper, winterberries, boxwood, eucalyptus, cones and other fun materials, wire, YOU, and expert instruction on a Sunday afternoon in November? Everyone goes home with a fabulous fresh swag that will stay vibrant on your door throughout the winter! Join us at Grand River Cellars for Swags n’ Wine on Sunday November 22nd at 1pm for 90 minutes of creative fun. You’ll learn a simple technique for making this winter swag from Maggie Fusco of The Wood Road Salad Farm in Madison. Maggie has been making winter wreaths, swags, and table arrangements with fresh materials for over 20 years, plus creating outdoor winter planters for clients in both public and private spaces, and leading workshops for garden clubs. Class is limited to 25 and they sell out quick! Fee is $56
Finished swag sizes are 20”-24” long. Materials vary each year but are always beyond the ordinary and each participant makes it their own!
