A partner or dance experience are not needed to attend. We’ll show you how to swing dance even if you’ve never danced before. Our live band, Starting Early, brings to life the sounds of the British Invasion and beyond performing classic hits and modern favorites with a swinging rhythm that will have you dancing the night away.
You are encouraged to dress up in your vintage inspired attire and experience the glamour of a bygone era as our live swing band sets the stage for an unforgettable night of music, dancing, and new friends!
Wine, cocktails, and other drinks will be available to purchase. When you arrive, please find us in the upstairs ballroom of Pinstripes.

We’ve got you covered, as the evening starts with swing dance lessons! We will show you how to swing dance even if you've never danced before! Come by yourself or invite your friends to join us, as a partner is not needed to take part in the swing dance lessons.

You are welcome to attend on your own and new members are especially welcome! This is a wonderful opportunity to network and socialize with other International Club of DC members as you make new friends.
What should I wear?
Cocktail attire recommended. Vintage-inspired dressy attire encouraged! Guests are encouraged to come dressed in vintage or vintage-inspired attire to match the spirit of the night! From swing skirts and suspenders to classic cocktail dresses and bow ties, have fun dressing the part or simply join us as you are.
