《T婆工廠》是愛情的天堂，而當天堂崩落時，拉拉移民女工以無比的勇氣，挑戰壓迫她們的國家政策，為愛勇往直前，也為愛共赴天涯。
本片記錄了七對女同伴侶，包括她們的訪談紀錄、參與勞資抗爭的情形、工廠宿舍的集體生活；而本片的特殊之處，在於她們置身的時空環境：藍領移工、面臨勞資關係斷裂的關廠事件、勞工集體抗爭的過程，以及移工政策中不得自由選擇及轉換雇主的非人性設計……這一切讓我們看到移工政策中明顯的歧視性，如何使得雙宿雙飛的拉拉伴侶們，面臨令人心碎的分離。
電影緣起台灣生產電腦零組件的「飛盟國際電子公司」，因老闆掏空資產逃往中國大陸，面臨關廠的命運。數百女工（其中125名爲菲律賓移民工人）由此來到台灣國際勞工協會（TIWA）求助。TIWA作為一個移工運動的團體，一邊組織她們抗爭行動，也一邊記錄下難得的移工集體抗爭事件。但拍著拍著，鏡頭裡出現雙雙對對的同志伴侶，互相依偎，溫馨甜蜜。於是這個紀錄，意外發展成愛的故事。
本次放映亦邀請到來自TIWA的靜如，進行映後座談，與觀衆交流性別、勞工與移民的交叉性議題。座談之後將同場加映《T婆工廠》的續集影片《彩虹芭樂》。
Lesbian Factory, a paradise of love. When paradise falls apart, lesbian migrant workers with unmatched courage challenge the national policies oppressing them, bravely moving forward for love, and journeying together for it. This film documents the stories of seven lesbian couples, including their participation in labor disputes, and communal life in factory dormitories. What makes this film unique is the setting these women find themselves in: as blue-collar migrants facing labor disputes, factory closures, worker collective actions, and inhumane migrant policies that prohibit the freedom of choosing and changing employers. This reveals the clear discrimination within migrant policies, causing heartbreaking separations among lesbian couples who wish to live and fly together.
The screening also features a discussion with Jing-Ru, the researcher from Taiwan International Workers' Association (TIWA), on the intersection of gender, labor, and migration issues. Following the discussion, there will be a bonus screening of the sequel to “Lesbian Factory,” titled “Rainbow Popcorn.”
