T Marie and Bayou Juju Album Fundraiser and BDay Bash - Dance Workshop at Set Break.   Your ticket gets you in the Pavilion.  You can then give more to help the band produce their next album.  Doors 4:30pm.  Show 5pm. 

T Marie & Bayou Juju  channel Ancestral and Next Generation South Louisiana Sounds… This band serves up a fresh take on traditional  Cajun, Creole, Zydeco, Swamp Pop, and Nola tunes ….  and then wows you with new original songs imbued with that good juju from the bayou. Check out their albums featuring everything from acoustic improv in an empty cathedral, to live shows from the sweaty dancefloors of dive bars, to the sounds of a seven piece band rocking a festival on the banks of the Mississippi River. This band promises a haunting taste of Louisiana past and present, and delivers an eclectic mix that stirs every chakra.

Head to the Southshore the day after the Zydeco Festival for this special show.... The band will be playing songs that will be released on two upcoming albums: 1) a Live Album with recordings from French Quarter Festival, Saturn Bar, California, and Chickie Wah Wah  2) A studio album with 4 new original songs.

FAQ

  • The showtime listed for the event is the time the event starts. Doors will generally open an hour before the listed show time unless otherwise listed.
  • We allow pets during the day, but not at night for music (anything after 7pm). Service animals are always allowed
  •  Please do not park in the Broad Theater parking lot. We have a parking lot for The Broadside and plenty street parking available on Toulouse and Lafitte. If you would like to be escorted to your car, please ask the Sheriff on duty. You may also park in the Auto Zone parking lot if they are closed. 
  • Our outdoor space has a variety of seating options such as benches, picnic tables, chairs, and stools. If you require a seat for health reasons or disability, please ask a staff member and they can provide you with a chair.
