Description
Lin-Manuel Miranda's, Miranda Family Fund, has made the play Everything You Need to Know About Abortion in One Hour or Less by Jeanie Greenberg available for the public to download, perform, stage, and adapt for free without any additional licensing.
The Burlesque Hall of Fame is taking the opportunity to share this free resource with the community! In telling the history of burlesque, the museum tells the stories of women who have exercised their bodily autonomy. We believe bodily autonomy is a fundamental human right. We are excited to share this story that celebrates that premise.
Join us as we celebrate Women's History Month on Sunday, March 30th for this intimate table reading. This will be hosted at the Burlesque Hall of Fame studio. The event is free but there is a $1 service fee to reserve your spot. Walk-ins will be accommodated according to availability.
You may choose to participate in the reading or you may be a witness to the story. Roles will be assigned at the event.
Thank you to the Miranda Family Fund for making this resource available to all!
