Date: Thursday, April 4th 7:00pm-8:30pm
This workshop focuses on strength, technique and choreography for floorwork.
Designed to invite creativity this class will work on
- strengthening exercises for functional movement to and from the floor
- arm movement to increase the stability
- leg and arm placement
- flexibility exercises to increase the flow of movement
- storyline theory for creating a dynamic act with floorwork
This class is offered to all. The School of Striptease teaches using the motto, "all bodies are burlesque bodies."
Please wear clothing that does not restrict your movement. Heels are optional.
Ily Royale w/Cheese combines comedy with classic burlesque! She is known for her improvisation skills and has more than 30 years of extensive dance training. Ily has hit national burlesque stages all across the county and is about to add ‘International’ to her resume! Hailing from Colorado, Las Vegas, NV has become her home. She produces and hosts two local shows; a queer Ladies Night once a month at The Pheonix and she is the Co-Producer of Sense & Sin Burlesque at Triple B’s on Fremont Street. She has been featured in Viva Las Vegas Rockabilly weekender and The Burlesque Hall of Fame’s Tease: A Burlesque Revue at The Space. She holds the titles for 1st Runner Up Golden Legend Champion ‘22 and The Master of Munchies in Colorado’s very own Mile High Burlesque Fest.
This course is scheduled to be taught in-person. The Burlesque Hall of Fame reserves the right to teach this course virtually, at its discretion. Furthermore, classes may be recorded via Zoom for any students who may need to miss a class.
