Tanyalee Davis at Late Night Let Loose Comedy

Back in November 1999, she secured second place in the Seattle Comedy Competition, making history as the first woman to reach the finals in a decade. Fast forward to October 2012, and she claimed the sixth spot overall in the San Francisco Comedy Festival. And in April 2001, she headlined at the Melbourne International Comedy Festival, a testament to her comedic prowess.

Her talent shone even brighter when she won the 2003 Norman G. Brooks Standup Comedy Scholarship Competition at the Hollywood Improv. In August 2003, she took the stage as part of the "US Comedy Invasion" show, wowing audiences at the world's largest arts festival, the Edinburgh Festival Fringe in Scotland. Her comedic journey continued with a UK tour in the spring of 2004, and she made a triumphant return to the Edinburgh Fringe in 2013.

Across the pond in the US, she made appearances on Last Comic Standing in 2004 and graced Animal Planet's hit show, Pit Boss (2012), along with a stint on Dr. Drew on CNN. Her impressive credits also include a teaser for the Austin Powers in Goldmember film, "For the Love of Money" (Movie 2002), MTV's Bash of Carson Daly (TV 2003), and the Fox network's reality show 30 Seconds to Fame.

In 2005, she took the stage as part of the Abnormally Funny People show, alongside comedic talents like Steve Best, Liz Carr, Steve Day, Chris McCausland, and Simon Minty. The following year, during the Edinburgh Festival Fringe, she joined forces with Carr in the side-splitting "Bravetarts." In 2007, she performed her one-woman show "Little Do They Know" and later revamped the fringe show, landing a six-month contract at the Clarion Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas in 2011.

August 2013 marked her return to the Edinburgh Fringe with her latest one-person show, "Big Trouble in Little 'Gina," inspired by a harrowing medical experience that began in late 2012.

During 2011–2012, Davis graced the small screen as a series regular on the Channel 4 TV show "I'm Spazticus."

Her appearances weren't limited to the stage and screen; she also featured in British-produced programs such as Sky TV's documentary chronicling the making of Abnormally Funny People and ITV's "SuperHuman: World's Smallest People" (which also aired on TLC in the US). Her extensive spinal surgery was a focal point in the latter show. On August 28, 2013, she made a special guest appearance on the live comedy Paralympics show "The Last Leg," engaging in a lively discussion about Jim Davidson's remarks regarding "midgets."
