Description
The Atomic B-Movie Blowout: Big A** Bug-O-Rama
Three big-a** bugs. Three B-movie nights. No bug spray. Zero hope for humanity. The Egyptian turns the final week
before Halloween over to the desert nightmares of the 1950s, when atomic testing made everything enormous, angry
and strangely photogenic. Giant ants, a skyscraper-sized tarantula and one seriously irritated scorpion stomp across
the giant screen in a celebration of practical effects, familiar faces and gloriously oversized panic.
Tarantula
1955 | Not Rated | 1 hr. 20 min.
Scientist Leo G. Carroll's experimental growth formula turns a desert tarantula into an eight-legged skyscraper with
an appetite. John Agar, Mara Corday and a very young Clint Eastwood in a jet-pilot cameo bring the firepower. The
science is questionable. The spider is not.
