Join us Saturday Sept 17th for our Taste of Appalachia: Farm to Table dinner event. Chef Stephen Gustard will be preparing a delicious 4-course meal featuring fresh seasonal ingredients sourced right here from local farms.
The event will begin at 6 pm with a cocktail hour and hors d’oeuvres allowing guests to socialize before the meal.
Guests will be seated at 7pm to begin their meal.
Course 1: Chilled Tomato Consommé
A light soup made with pickled tomatoes, fresh basil, extra virgin olive oil, mozzarella pearls and parmesan crisps
Course 2: West Virginia Poached Trout
Locally farmed trout served with a salad of Meadow Bluff greens, pickled cucumbers, charred onion, cherry tomatoes and topped with a roasted garlic vinaigrette.
Course 3: Braised Short Ribs
Braised short ribs topped with a hearty hunter’s sauce served with potato galette and glazed baby carrots with turnips.
Course 4: Butter Cake
Fresh made butter cake served with roasted peaches, candied oranges and topped with an anglaise sauce made from West Virginia’s own Smooth Ambler® bourbon
Paired wine will be served with each course.
Cost is $75 per guest and only 40 seats are available. Space is limited so purchase your tickets now before they are gone.
