Ushaw Historic House, Chapels & Gardens is an independent charity set in a majestic estate of 500 acres, hidden for 200 years in the heart of the Durham countryside. A unique heritage and visitor attraction, our glorious Georgian and Victorian Gothic architecture and stunning grounds make Ushaw the perfect place for families to explore and enjoy throughout the seasons.
Take part in 'Taster Sessions' of our new activities for under 5s and their carers at Ushaw, which will be launching soon.
Sling walk and talk is a short, led walk around the Ushaw Estate. A time to socialise with other parents in the great outdoors. Children to be carried in slings/carriers to allow the walk to proceed at a reasonable pace. *The route will not be pushchair accessible*
Please note - due to Covid Safety we need to limit the numbers on these sessions, meaning only 1 adult can attend. There is no limit for under 5s, however older children (over 5) and other adults need to be accounted for and tickets must be reserved.
All activities are free of charge for Ushaw Annual Pass holders - proof of purchase will be required. Without an Annual Pass admission and car parking charges will apply.
Those attending this special activity day will be able to access priority booking for future sessions.
