Step right up, you beautiful creatures of the night! We, Queer Care Fair are raising funds for our friend's top surgery recovery and bringing you the Gayest Show on Earth:

Chaotic clowns who will definitely flirt with you

Carnival games where you win glorious nonsense

Cabaret-esque performances dripping in queer magic

Live Screen Printing bring your blank t-shirt and leave with wearable art (plus pre-printed merch for sale!)

Raffle with prizes that everyone can enjoy, even for our deviant freaks ;)

Slutty craft table for making scandalous little keepsakes

Live aerial acts soaring above your heads — brought to you by Island Circus

This isn’t your grandma’s county fair, it’s a glorious mash-up of glitter, freak show, and gender joy, raising money so Mick can rid themselves of those chest goblins once and for all.

Ticket details: General Admission: $20, Community Ticket $15, Pay it Forward $25. We encourage folks to pay within their means and if you have the means to pay a little more, please do. This helps us cover the cost of the event, pay it forward to our low income tickets, as well as keeping us on track of our fundraising goal. Limited advanced ticket sales only, door tickets will NOT be available so grab your spot while quan(titties) last!

THIS IS A CASH ONLY EVENT - there will be refreshments,snacks, game tickets, raffle tickets and merch available for purchase. There is no ATM on site.

19+ no entry without 2 pieces of government issued ID

Code of Conduct

To ensure a safe and comfortable space for all participants we have a zero tolerance policy for any oppressive behaviour including but not limited to: homophobia, transphobia, racism, ableism, non-consensual contact, violence or harassment of any kind. NO TERFS. If you or a friend are experiencing any display of these behaviours, find a volunteer and we will mediate the situation and take action on what you feel comfortable with.

We're all friends here, please be respectful of the space. We have all worked very hard on this event and we want everyone to arrive and leave safely. Alcohol and substance consumption will be monitored. Know your limit!

Accessibility

All bathrooms are gender neutral and are located on the ground floor of the building. There are no stairs to enter the building. Wheelchair accessible bathroom is on site.

There will be no parking available in the parking lot, 2hr street parking is located on Balmoral Rd by the building.

We will be supplying masks at the door for anyone who needs them. Please do not come if you are sick or have been around anyone who is sick.

We will have music playing, so if you are sensitive to sound please bring earplugs. If at any time you need to step away or need support during the event, we will have a quiet zone with volunteers trained in harm reduction and first aid to help you.

This is a scent free zone.

Queer Care Fair

Our Purpose:

To promote gender equity and benefit the local Greater Victoria community by: 

  1. raising funds for the support and maintenance of individuals undergoing gender affirming care;
  2. hosting community events to celebrate our local trans community; and
  3. Hosting local meetings to discuss gender and plan inclusive events for all members of the community to learn about gender inclusivity.
