Join CFMA Twin Cities on January 18 as we dive into the current tax and accounting climate facing contractors. This program will include 30 minutes of networking and one hour Q&A webinar. The Q&A portion is intended to be interactive so come with any questions you may have as your prepare for your year-end close and upcoming filing season.

Perry McGowan is a professional tax advisor in CLA's Construction and Real Estate group in Minneapolis. He provides advisory services focused on the tax planning issues of real estate owners, designers, and builders. Perry applies his 35 years of experience to family-owned businesses and their CPAs, and provides thoughtful tax strategies, transaction design, and tax risk analysis. He serves as a national resource to the industry practice and a tax liaison to industry associations. His client services include large strategic consulting and complex transactional work with businesses in the construction, development, and real property industries, as well as related professional design practices.

Adam Mueller is a senior manager specializing in assurance and accounting in Wipfli LLP’s Construction and Real Estate (CRE) practice. He leads Wipfli’s CRE Technical Issues Committee and also led Wipfli’s implementation of ASC 606 – Revenue Recognition.  Adam has also presented on ASC 842 – Leases to a variety organizations.  Adam’s true value to his clients is understanding their businesses from their perspective and recommending real business solutions that help them achieve their goals in a timely and effective manner. His commonsense approach and ability to solve problems make him a true business advisor.

The Twin Cities Chapter of the CFMA is a vibrant chapter with more than 200 members and serves the construction community throughout the state of Minnesota.
