Toss the Caber : Use foam or plastic logs and have the kids try to toss them the way the Highland Games athletes do.
Tug of War: A classic! You can make it themed by having the kids pretend they're competing in a Scottish clan challenge.
Hammer Throw (With Ball): Use a soft ball or foam hammer to simulate the traditional hammer throw event.
