Description

Join the Oshawa Museum for the Tea & Talk series.  Enjoy your tea and scones while Museum staff lead engaging historical discussions.

June is Parks and Recreation Month! To celebrate the opening of our newest exhibit, this Tea & Talk explores the history of parks in Oshawa, looks at summers spent at the pool and winters on the skating rink! Hear memories of time enjoyed in Oshawa's parks, and share your own stories. Finish the afternoon with a tour of the newest exhibit, A Walk in the Park, in Robinson House.

Tickets for Tea & Talks are $15/person ($10 for members) plus applicable fees, and this includes unlimited tea and one scone served with jam and cream.

Tickets sell out FAST, so be sure to RSVP!

Please note: from May 15 to October 15, paid parking will be in effect at Lakeview Park on weekends, public holidays and during City-led events. Oshawa residents can park for FREE by registering their vehicle for a Waterfront Parking Permit at oshawa.ca/getting-around/parking/waterfront-parking

Nestled on the shores of Lake Ontario in beautiful Lakeview Park, the OM tells the story of Oshawa from Indigenous inhabitants to present day. Home to Oshawa’s history, the OM is managed by the Oshawa Historical Society.
