WANTED: Teachers/educators interested in expanding their classroom instruction with creativity using real-world application

This two-part series workshop for educators will include a tour of a local advanced manufacturing facility with a behind the scenes look at the technology and processes used in one of the fastest growing occupational industries. During the tour and in the follow-up discussion, we will explore ways to incorporate industry case studies to increase a maker mindset and project-based learning in the classroom. Whether you teach Math, Science, Technology or English, this is an opportunity to gain more understanding about what skills our students need in order to be successful in the workplace.

 Event registration includes both dates:

October 21st - Field trip to Mursix Corporation- 2401 N Executive Park Dr, Yorktown

October 28th - Discussion and professional development about how we can use ideas gained from the tour, to build in real world application of core subject material. Will meet in the Purdue Classroom on the 2nd floor of the Madjax building 515 E. Main St. Muncie
