The Central Florida Tech Grove, in partnership with Team Orlando, Office of Naval Research (ONR), NavalX, Naval Air Warfare Center Training Systems Division (NAWCTSD), and the National Security Innovation Network (NSIN), is executing a prize challenge to identify solutions that digitally collect, analyze, store, and deliver training evaluation data and metadata for the Surface Warfare Combat Training Continuum (SWCTC) from shipboard Combat System Training Team (CSTTs) Class Tactical Action Officers (TAO) during live training analysis while at sea, and effectively identify areas for improvement and subsequent performance models based on the data.

Prototypes submitted by all participants will be evaluated by subject matter experts (SMEs) from the supporting DOD entities listed above with backgrounds in training and evaluation.  Rating will be done by technical personnel experienced in conducting SWCTC training and analysis. Three finalists will be selected based on the evaluation of qualified submissions of prototypes and participation in the Prize Challenge Demo Day. The top performing participant will be awarded $60,000 in prize money with $45,000 and $30,000 awards to the second and third-ranked participants.
