Description

​Does your teenager want to be the next Steve Carell, Tina Fey or the next TikTok superstar? Do they want to hone their acting skills, become equipped to succeed in auditions, or learn comedy techniques that will allow them to stand out on social media? Or maybe they just want to meet other like-minded teens their own age and have a fun time hanging out and laughing together. If you answered "yes" to any of these, then our Improv for Teens workshop is perfect for them!

ImprovCity's Improv for Teens workshop provides a fun and supportive environment for students to learn the basics of improvisational acting, storytelling, and stagecraft. Help your teen unlock their creative voice, learn to work collaboratively with others, and build new friendships. No previous experience is necessary. 

With an emphasis on positivity, students learn the skills of public speaking, accepting and celebrating mistakes, making bold choices and trusting their instinct, being a team player, thinking quicker on their feet, active listening, and more!

What ages can enroll in the Improv for Teens workshop?
     • Ages 13-17

How many weeks is the class and for how long?
    • Class is four weeks long, and runs from 2:30pm to 5:00pm
How many students per class?
     • We require at minimum of 6 students for the class to proceed, and we cap the class at 16
