Part 1: The Gallery & Film Screening

  • 6 PM – Film Screenings and Panel Discussion

Experience Let’s Work: A Labor of Love, a visual art exhibition presented by The People’s Museum for Prince—a global community of art created by Prince fans. Afterward, grab a seat for Forever in My Life grassroots short film program, featuring the short Dearly Beloved (fresh off its acclaimed Minneapolis St. Paul International Film Festival run) alongside a slate of micro-documentaries and personal essays.

Part 2: The Concert

  • 8 PM – Live Music 

The energy shifts to the Capri Theater as Minneapolis’s top musicians deliver a masterful set honoring Prince’s peak artistry. Expect a seamless blend of local R&B, pop, and soul on the exact stage where Prince played his very first solo concert in 1979.

The Capri and PCYC

The Capri is a program of PCYC, a community nonprofit founded in 1954 with a rich history of education, arts, and youth programming. PCYC manages three dynamic programs in the heart of North Minneapolis: the CapriPYC Arts & Tech High School, and PCYC Summer Freedom School. Together, these programs serve as an educational, creative, and cultural hub, contributing to the vibrant community on the Northside and beyond.
