Hello! Welcome to another FREE 5-Day Creative Challenge! Let's start the summer together, returning our attention to the world outside and renewing a sense of childlike wonder.
Our theme for the week will be AWAKE AND PLAY.
Creative practice is for everyone. It requires us to engage with the world within and around us rather than numbing out, avoiding or reacting.
Shake off the winter coats and spring storms and let's awaken our senses and spirits through simple daily creative practice. Prompts will be delivered by owl--I mean, email--each evening beginning June 1. You won't need to go buy anything from the store - you have everything you need. And you can spend as much or as little time as you choose on each prompt. Your efforts will not be graded. :)
Each day at 12pm CST we'll circle up for a short check-in via Zoom, where you can connect meaningfully with other people who are also waking up & dipping their grown-up toes back into the waters of play.
For Nashville locals, plan to meet up in person in East Nashville for our last check-in, Friday June 6 at 10am (location TBD).
What to expect on the Zoom calls? Kindness & joy, for one thing. You will not be asked to bare your soul, but you will be invited to share your voice in conversation or the sharing of your creative experiences. (Artist And has a knack for attracting compassionate and curious humans--there's a very good chance you'll walk away with some new friends.)
Emails will arrive in your Inbox each evening, Sunday through Thursday. Zoom gatherings will happen each day from 12-12:30pm CST, Monday through Friday.
