Description

Waltz Time presents The Annual “Evening with Strauss” Waltz Ball! The annual Waltz Ball is a benefit for the Glen Echo Park Partnership for Arts and Culture. Live music from 9 pm to midnight by OLDE VIENNA with Alexander Mitchell (viola/violin), Elke Baker (viola/violin), Susan Brandt (flute), Ralph Gordon (string bass.), David Wiesler (piano).

The lesson (included with admission) helps dancers prepare for the uptempo Viennese waltzes. The dance includes a spectacular Grand March! For an extra fee, dancers can take an evening ride on the Carousel which will be running from 8:30 - 10:30 pm! Formal or dressy attire is suggested but not required. Light refreshments provided. The lesson is recommended for age 12 and older. No partner necessary and ALL are welcome.

Admission is $30 per person ($20 full-time student with ID) payable by cash, credit card, check or ApplePay. Ticket sales available online and at the door (online ticket purchase will incur additional ticketing fee).
