Discover the art of wildcrafting. In this hands-on, interactive outdoor experience, walk the groomed trails of Koetsier's “back 40,” identify edible wild plants, sample foraged foods, and explore nature-inspired crafts made from materials found right in our own backyard.
TEACHER BIO: Lea Sevigny connects with nature in many ways, but she especially enjoys foraging for items to make food, herbal remedies, and artistic creations. Through her business, Joyful Wildcrafting, Lea guides others to embrace the natural world. She is committed to practicing and teaching sustainable and ethical foraging practices rooted in place, most often in West Michigan.
