Celebrate the glory, the sound and the history of Black Music as the Black Music Academy of the Arts presents the 20th Annual Bay Area Black Music Awards inside the Freight & Salvage Theater downtown Berkeley. This stellar event will include the Hall of Fame Inductions of some the regions most incredible singers, musicians, writers and producers. With over 50 nominated artists the Bay Area BMA highlights the greatest of the greats by bringing their accomplishments into focus. The event will feature performances, video awards, best R&B, jazz, gospel, blues, hip hop, urban, neo and our honored guest earning the People's Choice, AIM, Icons, and Hall of Fame Awards. You can Walk The Red Carpet, enjoy sitting with celebrities and having a special day recognizing amazing artist that are keeping music alive in the the Bay Area.
