Description

Covenhoven is the project of Denver-based musician Joel Van Horne, an internationally recognized indie/folk artist known for rich harmonies, reedy baritone, compelling falsetto, and multi-instrumental songwriting that blends acoustic, indie, and orchestral textures. He’s released multiple albums and EPs since 2013, with his fifth album The Color of the Dark, which came out in 2025, featuring collaborations with notable producers and musicians from Colorado and beyond.

Covenhoven’s music has been featured on major TV shows and he has shared the stage with respected artists like members of Bon Iver, Gregory Alan Isakov, Lord Huron and others - and his live performances translate that layered, expansive sound into both solo and full-band settings.

Covenhoven’s songs have been streamed over 8.5 million times and reached over 15 million people through television shows including: 13 Reasons Why, Nashville, Teen Wolf, Home Before Dark, Flaked, Kevin Probably Saves the World, and Private Eyes - Canada’s most watched show for 5 years. The Bloomery

The Bloomery is a family farm that lies just west of Casper, Wyoming. We produce field grown seasonal flowers while continually striving to learn the best ways to care for the soil, the abundant wildlife, and the native vegetation.

We love listening to music as much as we love growing flowers. Both bring beauty and hope into our lives, and it brings us great joy to share talented musicians with our Wyoming community. Add locally prepared cuisine and beer, and the sites and sounds of nature to a summer evening and the night is just about as perfect as it can be.

Come visit the farm and experience outdoor music, Wyoming style!
