The Bunker Performance Lounge & Cafe is bringing two great stand-up comedians to the stage this August. Grab a cocktail, order something off the menu, and get ready for a night of laughs with Jeremy Dobski and Renee Groux.
Jeremy Dobski
Jeremy Dobski is a Canadian touring stand-up comedian. His material blends sharp observation with darker, offbeat turns and a playful edge. He has toured across North America, performing at festivals and top clubs, including Comedy on State, The Second City, The Laugh Factory, and at the Just for Laughs festival. He has worked with Howie Mandel, Todd Glass, Tony Hinchcliffe, Sam Tallent, Brett Ernst, Ryan Long, Nathan Macintosh, Kenny Hotz, Rory Scovel, and Robbie Hoffman, performing alongside and opening for them. He was recognized as one of the Top 10 comedians in Montreal for two consecutive years. His award-winning podcast Laughmatic has also received industry recognition.
Offstage, he is a writer and producer with over two decades of experience across comedy and music, including producing albums in both genres and founding TOC Records. He also teaches creative writing and performance through Stand Up For Student Well Being, using comedy as a tool for youth empowerment. His screen credits include ViceTV and Discovery, and he is the co-creator of the animated series Para-Legal (starring Kids In The Hall alumni), as well as a producer of the Punx Can't Laugh live series and festival.
Renee Groux
Since she was 19, Renee has been entertaining in the best comedy spots across Ontario. Now at 26, she is the co-producer of Fever Dream Comedy in Kitchener-Waterloo, has appeared at the Guelph Comedy Festival, Hillside Festival, and the 2022 Fringe Festival in Edinburgh, Scotland, and has recently opened for TV's Jon Dore. Tune in to 93.3 CFRU in Guelph-Wellington and the Tri-Cities to hear her comedy talk show, "Worst Responders," every Monday at noon. Whether on stage or over the airwaves, Renee promises to get silly (and probably gross) and bring the laughs.

With limited seating, we kindly ask all ticket holders to arrive no later than 15 minutes before showtime to ensure your spot. Reserved seating may be released 15 minutes after the show begins. If seats are no longer available, refunds may be issued in person. Please note: no refunds are issued for no-shows.
