Headliner Laurie Elliott
Laurie Elliott is a Juno-nominated comedian, actor, and television writer who has performed around the globe. A four-time winner of the Best Female Stand-Up award at the Canadian Comedy Awards, Laurie has graced the stages of Montreal's Just For Laughs Festival, the Winnipeg Comedy Festival, and international comedy festivals from Cape Town to Stockholm.
You might recognize her from MuchMusic’s Video on Trial, CBC’s The Red Green Show, Match Game, and The Debaters. Laurie’s voice work includes popular animated series like Total Drama Island and Camp Lakebottom, and she has written for hit shows such as Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs and Mother Up. Fresh off opening for comedy icon Arsenio Hall, Laurie’s unique blend of intelligence and humour guarantees a stellar show.
Opener Cameron Phoenix
Toronto’s own Cameron Phoenix brings his quick-fire delivery and charm to the stage. Having honed his craft in Montreal and the UK, Cameron is the winner of the King Gong Competition at London’s Comedy Store and a regular at the Edinburgh Fringe and Just For Laughs. He produces the popular Gong Show at Comedy Bar, co-hosts the Twitch stream Little Dinky News, and has opened for comedy greats like Colin Mochrie.
