Join us for the first installment of our Summer Songwriter Series, a three-part Friday night celebration of original music and storytelling at The Bunker. On June 27, we’re bringing together three distinctive voices for an intimate evening of songs, stories, and shared inspiration.
Meggi Faye (Minto Township) brings emotionally resonant songwriting with a voice reminiscent of Sarah Harmer and Feist. Her music explores love, motherhood, and vulnerability with heartfelt clarity. With two previous releases under her belt, Meggi is gearing up to release her latest album Piece it Back Together, with singles “Moon & Back,” “Waiting on a Rainy Day,” and “Messed Up Place” already making waves.
Henry Taylor (Kitchener-Waterloo) has been part of Canada’s folk-rock landscape since the late '90s. With six studio albums and performances at Toronto’s most iconic venues—including the Horseshoe Tavern and the Mod Club—Henry continues to evolve his craft. His newest record SWEET THUNDER! (2025) follows a string of well-received releases, and his co-written song “Decorating Your Heart” recently took home a songwriting award from the Tennessee Songwriters Association.
Joe Lapinski (St. Catharines) is a songwriter, producer, and sound designer whose collaborative work spans indie rock, experimental music, theatre, and film. A cornerstone of Niagara’s music scene, Joe’s upcoming solo album New Day—produced with Dave Clark—dives into themes of identity, community, and healing. His new single “Hurt A Bird” debuted in April 2025.
