Friday Night Sessions returns with the first round of our Winter Songwriter Series on Friday, December 19 at 8:00 PM. This pay-what-you-can evening (suggested $15) brings three distinct voices to The Bunker stage, each drawing from their own road-tested experiences and musical roots.
Jeremy Fox is a professional singer, songwriter, guitarist, and coach whose sound blends the grit of classic rock and blues with the storytelling spirit of country and folk. When he’s not on stage with his band or performing solo shows, he’s helping other artists find their voice and confidence, making him a natural fit for a songwriter-focused night.
Born and raised in Stratford, Lauren Neilson grew up surrounded by music. She trained under acclaimed songwriter Dayna Manning and is currently studying Community Music at Wilfrid Laurier University. With heartfelt originals, thoughtful interpretations of her favourite songs, and a grounded stage presence, Lauren is quickly becoming a familiar face in the local scene while also teaching the next generation of musicians.
Uncle G (Graeme Shaw) is a Canadian Americana singer-songwriter whose work is rooted in the honest storytelling of rural Ontario. His 2024 debut album Where I’m From, produced by Joe McLeod, introduced a lyrically rich blend of folk, rock, and country shaped by small-town life and years spent in Tobermory. With new music rolling out through 2025, Uncle G’s songs trace the pull between where we’ve been and where we’re headed.
